The venue has a sound limiter, will that be a problem?

From our experience we've found that venues with sound limiters can have a drastic negative effect on the evening's entertainment. Sound limiters tend to be set on such a low sound setting that even your guests clapping or singing along to songs can trip the 'limiter', which in turn will turn off all the power on the stage (DJ area). There's also the possibility of permanent damage to our computer systems caused by sudden 'shut-down' of power.

We may consider taking bookings in venues with a 'sound limiter' installed, but these will be decided on a case by case basis.

ALWAYS CHECK TO SEE IF THE VENUE HAS A SOUND LIMITER BEFORE YOU HIRE YOUR HALL.

If the venue has a sound limiter then it most likely will not be a suitable location to hold your special occasion.
